Description | GM Hurst Manual Transmission 4 Speed Shifter Lever Bushings, 3 piece set. These are the rubber bushings the snap into the hole of the shifter lever to take up the slop between the lever and the rod that goes in the hole. These are use on the 3 shifter levers that are part of the shifter. From 1960-69 there was a molded rubber end on the lever. Over time these get worn out and the rubber disappears and the shifter becomes loose. The only way to fix it is to scrape off any remaining rubber and snap in these bushings. From 70-79 This was the actual bushing that was used in all the shifter arms and replaced the earlier molded end. So all 1970-1979 cars had these bushings at on time, but as they wear or become brittle over 40 years they break or wear out of the shifter. Now you can replace them with this exact reproduction of the rubber bushing and restore that factory shifter to brand new in minutes. These are the exact size and shape of the originals with the correct oil resistant rubber in the correct softness. These are the details that separate the first place cars from the rest. Applications:1967-1969 Camaro & Firebird, 1970-1979 Camaro & Firebird Trans Am 1964-1972 Chevelle, 1973-1977 Chevelle, Lemans, Cutlass, Skylark,1964-1972 GTO, 442, GS, El Camino, 1970-1972 Monte Carlo, 1969-1972 Grand Prix, 1968-1974 Chevy II Nova, all Full Size Cars from 1960-1979 and any GM Car with a manual 4 speed shifter. |
